The glass flew off and into traffic while i was driving on interstate highway i-25. I live in colorado springs co. Usa. And maintenance at the local mercedes benz there. Question is if there is any visibility to this issue via mercedes benz corporate, and if assistance on repairs are a realistic expectation. Failure date: 08/25/2020 the contact owns a 2015 mercedes-benz c300. The contact stated that while driving at the speed limit on i-25, the front glass panel detached from the vehicle. The contact stated a true realization of the issue was not fully comprehended when it happened outside of the noise it made at the time of failure, until the contact pulled over once off the highway, and confirmed that the glass panel had detached from the vehicle. The glass panel was not retrieved. The contact referenced nhtsa campaign number: 19v918000 (visibility) as a possible solution for the failure, the failure mileage was approximately 70123.
